Use your fingertips, not the palms of your hands. Use your forearm and wrist to bounce the ball. Don't look at the ball. Keep your head up and eyes forward. You must learn to use either hand.
Control Dribble
- Starts in triple threat position.
- Eyes always looking ahead (not down)
- Keep ball bouncing low
- knees stay bent
- opposite arm guarding in front of player
Speed Dribble
- Ball bounced waist high and slightly ahead or beside
- Head always looking straight
- Player is running
